What Are They?

Dental Implants are small titanium posts that are placed in the jaw bone underneath the gums and support artificial teeth where natural teeth are missing. They work completely independently of adjacent teeth and are therefore often the best solution to replace missing teeth, whatever the reason for their loss.

When dental implants are placed into the jaw bone, a process known as “osseointegration” occurs over a period of time. This means that the implants become firmly anchored into the bone to provide a strong foundation that allows people with missing teeth to chew effectively and comfortably.

Anyone who has missing teeth and wishes maximum comfort and efficiency in chewing, speech and appearance. People who do not like the idea of dentures or find denture wearing difficult also find implants a solution to their problems.
